The Argentinian DJ, Hernan Catteneo started his career in Club Pacha from Buenos Aires. That was in 1996. In that club have mixed many great names like Sasha, Digweed, Dave Seaman, Danny Tenaglia, Carl Cox, Darren Emerson or Paul Oakenfold who played along Hernan. He won Best DJ Award in 1996 and 1997. Oakenfold was impressed with Cattaneo’s performances and signed with him for its label Perfecto Records.

In the following years Hernan and Oakenfold toured together in Europe and in United States. This experience had introduced Cattaneo to many high profile venues and events. Soon he became resident in the biggest clubs across the world - at Cream, both in Liverpool and Ibiza; Perfecto in Ibiza and gigs from Iceland to Singapore.

In 2000, Hernan Cattaneo was a major name on dance music stage. His biggest club hit “Deep Funk” was released by the end of 2001, when Hernan made # 50 on the DJ mag chart and was awarded the honour of becoming one of their cover stars. He also won the ‘Best Newcomer DJ’ at the Pacha Ibiza awards. He started his new radio show on Metro 95.1 FM from Argentina.

The next year, Cattaneo found himself on 25th place in DJ mag chart. The position improved in 2004 when he placed the 6th. Hernan Cattaneo have released the following compilations:

He also worked with John Digweed for his weekly show at radio Kiss 100. In May of 2007 he released Sequential Volume 2, which was once again followed by another worldwide tour to promote the compilation.

Personal, I am not a big fan of Hernan Cattaneo, but I still like good music. I have found a radio show from Metro 95.1FM which I can say it’s quite interesting. You don’t need to be a big fan to enjoy good quality house music. Am I right? Take a look at the tracklist:
